Returns, Refunds and Credits
Thank you for shopping with LabExact®, a brand of I.W. Tremont Co., Inc.. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase, and we understand that sometimes you may need to return an item. Please review the following Return and Refund Policy to ensure a smooth and convenient process:
- Non-damage, Non-defect returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Here's why:
Laboratory products must be lot number recorded and tracked for suitability of use, QA/QC and other operational purposes. If a product is shipped out of our control, upon receipt, even if packaging integrity is intact, we must still open and inspect the contents. This inspection requires labor such as revalidation, repackaging and in many instances the product may not be suitable for resale.
- Returns of this nature must be initiated within 10 days of delivery.
- If a product is found to be non-compliant, defective or damaged you may may initiate a return within 30 days from the date of purchase.
- State of Return: To be eligible for a return, the non-compliance, defect or damage must be reported to us within 30 days from date of purchase. An RMA will be issued upon review. This RMA must accompany the return to ensure your refund or replacement is processed.
- In instances where outer carton or packaging has visibly sustained damage during transport effecting inner contents, simply reject to package at time of delivery. The carrier will return the goods to us and a replacement will be processed immediately. You will be notified during the process
Process for Return: To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
- Send an email to our customer service at email@example.com, stating your order number, date of purchase, and reason for the return.
- Our customer service team will review your request and provide you with a Return Authorization (RA) form and a shipping label.
- Carefully package the item and include the RA form on the inside of the package.
- Ship the product to the address provided by our customer service team using the shipping label provided.
Process of Refund or Exchange: Once we receive the returned item and verify that it meets our return criteria, we will process your refund or replacement order. The following terms apply to refunds:
If all terms are met, a full refund or replacement will be issued to the original payment method used during the purchase.
- A product replacement can be requested and granted if all terms are met.
- The refund will be processed within a reasonable timeframe after we receive the returned product.

- Products returned without a valid RA number may not be accepted or processed for a refund.
- We recommend using a trackable shipping method for your return to ensure its safe arrival.
- As with all of our orders, refunds will only be issued in USD.
- If the returned item does not meet our return criteria, we may not be able to process the refund or offer an exchange.
