I.W. Tremont has signed a definitive agreement with Lisa Jones as Director of Higher Education Relations

The I.W. Tremont Corporation has signed a definitive agreement for representation in Consultation, Sales and Marketing with Lisa Jones of Tuscaloosa, AL. Lisa will represent the LabExact® brand of products at a high level to institutions of higher education such as colleges, universities, technical and research institutes. LabExact® is a brand of the I.W. Tremont Corp which has attained success by becoming synonymous with quality, value and availability. The brand is currently available by over 40 authorized distributors in North America in addition to many international sales agents and distributors.

About Lisa: Lisa Jones has a strong history of working with individuals throughout higher education, having spent over 27 years working as the Stockroom Manager for the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at The University of Alabama. In this role, she actively supported the teaching and research mission needs of a very large, robust R1 research university. As a result of this experience and her years of networking within the industry, Lisa developed a strong network of contacts in scientific academia throughout the country and she continues to maintain and develop this network through volunteer activities and professional organizations.

Lisa is an active member of the National Association of Scientific Materials Managers (NAOSMM). NAOSMM is a leading organization dedicated to professionals involved in the management of scientific materials. Lisa has served in various leadership roles in the organization and was the recipient of the 2024 NAOSMM Distinguished Service Award. Lisa has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The University in Alabama in Huntsville, with a Major in Procurement Management.

The I.W. Tremont Corporation has signed a definitive agreement for representation in marketing, sales and branding with Bevin Carter of Mercer Carter. Bevin will consult and represent the LabExact® brand of products at a high level to select distributors, resellers and procurement systems. LabExact® is a brand of the I.W. Tremont Corp which has attained success by becoming synonymous with quality, value and availability. The brand is currently available by over 40 authorized distributors in North America in addition to many international sales agents and distributors.

Her expertise spans strategic account management, process automation, and sales & marketing, significantly impacting biotech and pharma sectors through successful funding and expansion strategies.

Bevin holds an MBA from Wharton and MS in Psychology and BS in Biochemistry and Bio-Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. She is on the boards of Telluride Science and Innovation Center and The Carter Family Foundation.
